Independent Software Developer — 2005 – present
Contract web programming, primarily javascript and PHP. Independent iOS development for iPhone and iPad. Apps include AddingMachine, I’m Here, QuickLight, various one touch dialers, Sale Price % and Icon Dial. Two apps for the Palm Pre: I’m Here and Cow Can.
Developed for all iOS releases. Experience with MapKit, Quartz, messaging, and iAd APIs. Implemented iAd and AdMob in Icon Dial. In the learning stage with OpenGL ES.
Currently developing a map publishing app.
Implemented in app purchasing in Icon Dial to turn-off advertising.
Director of Mobile Technology, SmallPlanet, Inc. — 2004 – 2006
SmallPlanet was an early social networking company which attempted to differentiate itself by entering the soon to emerge mobile space. Developed the friend finder software which enabled cell phones running the software to locate other proximate phones and then notify the cell’s owner with an abbreviated profile. The software was based on J2ME, Bluetooth and the Symbian operating system.
Developed a Google Map based system which closely resembles the current Google Latitude system.
Independent Software Developer — 2001 – 2004
Developed casual gaming software in J2ME for the Symbian operating system. Software was distributed through Handango and the Nokia Software Market.
Technology Director, ClickZ, Inc. — 1999 – 2001
In 1999 ClickZ was an independent company and the leading publisher of internet marketing newsletters and website. Technologically ClickZ was utilizing a CGI based content management system which was not scaling with corporate growth. Management was also planning an expansion into conferences and physical publishing. Transitioned the content management system to java servlet technology. Created an e-commerce systems for conference registration and payment. Developed a sales systems for book publishing. Updated the email newsletter publishing system.
ClickZ was sold to Internet.com and management planned a four fold expansion. Recruited and managed a programming team to facilitate expansion and to integrate existing systems with parent company systems.

Developed websites and commerce systems on a contract basis. Specialized in dynamic data driven application.
Owner, SurfSpot — 1996 – 1997
Entrepreneurial web venture to provide real time images of surf conditions. Developed a robotic camera system to capture images, create time lapse video and up load data to a web server. Developed website for distribution of the image data and built a searchable database of surf related companies.
